Sophrology has brought a presence into my life. A practice where I can connect to my body and process what is happening. I crave this time to let go and be judgment free and tune into myself and have this peace. I have learned that my thoughts are very powerful and influence me greatly positively or negatively. Being able to be aware of this can be very effectual in changing my mental outlook on a given situation. Just being aware of body sensations can help my notice what is happening with one’s mind or vice versa. I have discovered that life in life, you can be a watcher, an observer and be less emotionally attached and more present in your body and your experiences without it causing a negative experience.
