Individual Themed Exercises: Relaxed Sleep
Why do this exercise?
Like to enjoy more rest and quality sleep? The Relaxed Sleep exercise encourages your body and mind to let go, relax and enjoy a good, nourishing, night’s sleep.
What happens during the exercise?
You sit in a chair with your eyes closes and the sophrologist will guide you through preparing to sleep and sleeping through the night. It is recommended that you do this exercise during the day and typically, by repeating it regularly, people experience an improvement in the quality of their sleep.
Doing anytime, anywhere rating
Best done sitting.
What to do before you start:
- make sure you are in a place where it is safe for you to deeply relax and close your eyes.
- Find a place to sit or lie down
- Remind yourself of the sophrology attitudes
- Have an audio player with the audio file
- Have a notebook and pen ready
We recommend that you do this exercise daily for at least a week and thereafter, until you are enjoying a full night’s rest.
