Why do this exercise?

Sophrology is all about expanding awareness.  By becoming aware of your own energy vibrations, your aliveness, you can manage your high/low energy patterns.   Helps to break out of feeling tired, stressed or out of sorts. This is a good exercise to do every morning so that you start the day centered and balanced.

By regularly training in these themed sophrology exercises you are gradually increasing your ability to stay present and centered while building up a bank of pleasurable and relaxing physical sensations that can be accessed regularly to keep energy levels high and generally make life easier and more enjoyable.

Doing anytime, anywhere rating
Suitable anywhere you can sit or lie down with your eyes closed, and are unlikely to be be disturbed.

What to do before you start:

  • make sure you are in a place where it is safe for you to deeply relax and close your eyes.
  • Find a place to sit or lie down
  • Remind yourself of the  4 sophrology attitudes
  • Have an audio player with the audio file
  • Have a notebook and pen

We recommend that you do this exercise daily for a week so that you become aware of the different energy vibrations on different days.  You may also like to continue doing the exercise on a regular basis.
