3 Key Techniques

Individual Themed Exercises: 3 Key Techniques

Why do this exercise?

The three techniques are used at the beginning of most sophrology exercises.  In themselves they promote concentration, relaxation and a general feeling of well-being.

What happens during the exercise?
You start standing in front of a chair, focus on each part of your body, tense and stretch your body, then sit down on the chair to finish the exercise by breathing in vital energy to nourish each of your cells.

Doing anytime, anywhere rating
Suitable anywhere you can stand and sit down and where you can have your eyes closed

What to do before you start:

  • make sure you are in a place where it is safe for you to deeply relax and close your eyes.
  • Find a place to sit or lie down
  • Remind yourself of the sophrology attitudes
  • Have an audio player with the audio file
  • Have a notebook and pen ready

Regular practice:

We recommend that you do this exercise daily for a week and, thereafter, you will be able to do it whenever you feel the need, even if you do not have the audio close to hand.
