About this exercise?

By remembering a happy moment, that took place either today or yesterday, for example a beautiful tree, the sun shining, a nice piece of music, a smile, a bird singing or stroking an animal, you will experience the physical sensations of joy and happiness within the body.

You may find that you smile more and generally feeling happier as you navigate through life’s ups and downs.

Before doing the exercise we recommend that you:

  1. Read the instructions
  2. Watch the demonstration video (online)
  3. Find a place where you can sit or lie down, relax and close your eyes
  4. Do the exercise by listening to the audio file
  5. Have a notebook and pen to write up your experience

Regular practice: We recommend that you practice each exercise once a day for 5 days before going on to the next one.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you are in a place where it is safe to close your eyes and deeply relax.
