The more I learn about Sophrology, the more I find myself being far more conscious on a daily basis of my thoughts, experiences and body. I have really started to appreciate my five senses, having just studied them in Level 2. So much of life is experienced through our five senses and I have found that becoming more conscious of them has made me appreciate the power of my body and mind. I have particularly enjoyed learning about the Reticular Activating System and how, through repetition of positive thoughts, you can help your brain search for positivity in the world. I have also thoroughly enjoyed studying about stress and the effects it has on the body and the Sophrology techniques we can use to relieve stress. This is such a useful skill in this current climate.
